Dakota Star likes worn-in cowboy boots, well-trained horses, and trails to ride in the woods. A life-long resident of Connecticut, she lives in a suburban town with her husband and two fur babies after her daughters graduated college and left the nest. The author has always loved to write and channeled her creativity by working as an editor, a freelance writer for local newspapers, and as an educator for environmental non-profits and aquariums. Now she spends her days plotting steamy romances and romantic suspense. When she’s not writing, you will find her outdoors hiking the trails with her rescue dogs, horseback riding, or exploring new places that she might one day write about.
