When she first moved from Chicago to Seattle some years ago, Celeste Joy took a year to discover what made her truly happy. Since Washington State is so beautiful in every season, she tried hiking, biking, kayaking, drawing, painting, and a whole lot more. Along the way, she discovered creative writing and made a lot of good friends who also love to write. She now writes a variety of things including YA under the name Celeste Deveney, and paranormal fantasy under the name Celeste Joy. She still lives outside of Seattle and every time she sees Mt. Rainier, she still pinches herself and says, “I get to live here.”
